Career Stories

You do great work. Inspire others with your career stories during job interviews, presentations, and networking events.

Storytelling is an essential skill for any professional. As we say, your resume gets you the interview; your stories get you the job. Similarly, a well-told story can help you secure a new client, promotion, or the respect of an audience at a speaking engagement.

Whatever your goal, our professionals are here to help you identify the most compelling stories from your career and to provide you with the skills and confidence to share them with others. Our instructors and clients have experience working in corporate and nonprofit sectors in a variety of fields, from technology to the arts.

PROGRAM OPTIONS

  • Small group coaching: Our small group training combines four hours of small group instruction with three one-hour private coaching sessions. Learn the fundamental skills of professional storytelling while crafting a career story that you can immediately put to work. Sign up for an upcoming session or invite five fellow professionals to host a series at a time most convenient to you.

  • Individual coaching: Need more flexibility or want extended individual support? Enroll in our individual coaching services. At Stellar, we have helped people craft stories for sales meetings, job interviews, keynotes, and other professional events.

  • Custom training programs: Our career stories program can be tailored for schools, nonprofits, and businesses. For example, high school and college students learn how storytelling can advance their education and career goals. At the same time, employees discover how storytelling can elevate their performance at work and can even lead to job promotions.
“The Stellar Career Stories Program resulted in my securing a promotion at work and improved my public speaking skills. I would recommend it to all professionals.”
